About the role
Nouvells is seeking detail-oriented Data Annotation & Quality Specialists to support the creation, review, and validation of high-quality datasets used in AI and machine learning workflows. You'll help ensure that data used to train and evaluate AI systems is accurate, consistent, relevant, and aligned with defined guidelines.
Annotate and label datasets according to defined guidelines. Review existing annotations for accuracy. Identify ambiguous or inconsistent data. Perform quality-control checks. Apply classification and categorization frameworks. Document recurring annotation issues. Escalate unclear cases appropriately. Contribute to improving annotation guidelines. Support dataset preparation for AI training and evaluation. Maintain consistency across large datasets.
Key responsibilities
- Tagging text, drawing bounding boxes/polygons on images, transcribing audio, classifying intent/sentiment
- Quality control, validation, and process improvement
- Correcting rejected annotations returned during the review cycle.
- Ensuring that labeling logic remains uniform over time and across different distributed annotator teams before datasets are pushed to model training.
