About the role
Nouvells is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build sophisticated Reinforcement Learning (RL) Environments for training and evaluation. In this role, you will create production grade cloud scenarios that challenge AI models to design, deploy, troubleshoot, scale, and recover distributed systems. You will construct reproducible environments, deterministic validation test suites, golden reference solutions, and intentionally defective infrastructure variants.
Key responsibilities
- Develop complex scenarios involving networking, Identity and Access Management (IAM), message queues, persistent storage, observability, rolling deployments, and disaster recovery.
- Build deterministic validation tests, golden reference architectures, and intentionally defective infrastructure variants to benchmark system performance.
- Implement robust CI/CD pipelines, automation tooling, and cloud infrastructure logic across modern backend stacks.
Qualifications
- B.Sc in Computer science Or any related field
