About the role
Nouvells is seeking Full-Stack Software Engineers who can work across the frontend and backend of modern applications. You'll contribute to building complete digital products—from intuitive user interfaces and responsive experiences to APIs, databases, authentication, and backend services.
As our Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will build and scale the user-facing surface and backend-for-frontend (BFF) services that power Nouvell. You will work in lockstep with our Product Designers, Operations Manager, and Machine Learning Engineers to translate cutting-edge AI features into intuitive, resilient, and blazing-fast web experiences. You will tackle unique distributed frontend and backend challenges: parsing and rendering token streams with zero UI jitter, synchronizing state across multi-turn agent runs, designing rate-limited API gateways, and ensuring the application remains responsive under variable model latency.
Key responsibilities
- Architect performant, modular web applications using modern TypeScript, React, and Next.js (App Router, Server Components).
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers and microservices using Node.js/TypeScript, Python (FastAPI), or Go.
- Build data validation and strict contract boundaries between client and server using tools like Zod, OpenAPI, or tRPC.
- Design webhook ingestion engines and third-party integrations that ingest external data into Nouvell's core workflows with zero data loss.
