About the role
Nouvells is looking for experienced Software Engineers who can design, build, and improve reliable software systems for real-world technology and AI-driven projects.
Senior Software Engineers within the Nouvells network may work across different projects and technology environments. Rather than being limited to one internal product, your expertise can be matched to projects that require experienced software engineering capabilities. You'll be expected to think beyond writing code. Strong candidates should understand architecture, maintainability, performance, security, testing, and the broader business or technical objective behind the software being developed.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable software applications and services. Build and maintain reliable APIs and backend systems. Translate product and technical requirements into practical solutions. Review and improve existing codebases and architectures. Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues. Develop automated tests and contribute to engineering quality standards. Collaborate with product managers, data professionals, ML engineers, and other technical experts. Participate in architectural and technical decision-making. Document systems, technical decisions, and implementation approaches. Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
Qualifications
- B.Sc in computer Science or any related field
